Prior to relocating to Hong Kong, I was fortunate to live and work in a small beach community just outside of downtown Los Angeles. If you know LA, you know its the land of commutes so to live and work in the same area, well... it becomes your bubble.
Today was my first day back at work and after wrapping up for the day, I decided to head out for a walk around my new neighborhood, or as I call it, my new bubble.

In the following two images, I was trying to work on my panning and motion blur technique. The first image was shot at 1/12th of a second and I propped the camera up against a telephone booth. The second image was shot at 1/8th.

On a side note, I am so bummed right now. As you can see by the image below on the right side of the frame, it looks like I've got a pretty nasty mark on my sensor. I hope its nothing serious and just needs a good cleaning. I tried to blow it out but no such luck and my sensor cleaning kit is back home in storage. Hmm, maybe I have to visit the Leica store in Hong Kong :)... Yeah honey, I really need to go to the Leica store to get my camera serviced. I promise I won't buy anything!!!
